The Taoyuan International Airport MRT Line has failed to meet several criteria before its anticipated launch in March. Taoyuan Mayor says that passenger safety should still be the top priority and the launch of the MRT line is to be postponed.

Will the Increase in Maximum of Chinese Tourists to Taiwan Affect Quality of Domestic Tourism? Legislator Says No
On November 30, the Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) announced the new tourism policy at congress. Uber Suspension in Taiwan Cancelled; MOTC to Keep Appealing
The court thinks that the registered services of Uber include management consultancy, data processing service, electronic information supply service and third-party payment service, but doesn't include auto-transportation service. The Directorate General of Highways suspending Uber is beyond the regulation of the Highway Act, so the court cancelled the suspension. Yet, the case can still be appealed.

Taiwanese Flight Attendants Protest Against Labor Exploitation
According to the Aircraft Flight Operation Regulation (AOR), if the cabin crew spends an hour on in-flight rest, the flight duty period can be extended to 20 hours, and if they spend over three hours staying in a hotel after landing, the flight duty period can be automatically extended to 24 hours.

The Taiwan Highway Electronic Toll Collection System has won the award for Customer Service & Marketing Outreach of IBTTA with its near-perfect accuracy rate of traffic volume and success rate of collecting fees. The system beat other participating countries in Europe and America and was awarded what is known as "the Oscar of the toll collection industry."
