Gianna Gayle Herrera Amul is a Research Associate on Global Health Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. She was formerly a Senior Analyst at the Centre for Non-Traditional Security (NTS) Studies at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) from 2012-2015. She has also taught at the University of Philippines, and assisted on the Millennium Development Goals and the Mainstreaming Human Security in ASEAN Integration research projects spearheaded by the Institute of Strategic and Development Studies (ISDS), Philippines. Gayle holds an MSc in Asian Studies from RSIS (2012) and a BA in Political Science (cum laude) from the University of the Philippines, Diliman (2007). Tikki Pang joined the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy after 13 years at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland as Director of its Research Policy & Cooperation department. In this capacity he worked with countries to strengthen their national health research systems, developed mechanisms and initiatives to improve the efficiency and transparency of global health research, and helped formulate an Organization-wide research policy. Prior to his WHO career, Tikki was Professor of Biomedical Sciences at the Institute of Postgraduate Studies & Research, and Associate Professor/Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
