Gregory McCann is an Assistant Professor at Chang Gung University in Taoyuan. He is the author of the book Called Away by a Mountain Spirit: Journeys to the Green Corridor, and he is involved in conservation projects in Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia. He writes for Mongabay, The Diplomat, Asia Sentinel, Taipei Times, and academic journals dealing with wildlife conservation.
