A different take on the recent moves made by Hong Kong's leader.
With the successful ousting of the two Youngspiration Legislative Council (LegCo) elects through the highly unusual move of an initiation of a judicial review challenging a LegCo process by a Chief Executive, and the subsequent copycat judicial reviews targeting other new LegCo members, CY Leung (梁振英) has indeed made quite a splash in his political show to impress the Chinese central government. After such firework displays, and having shaken the rule of law and the separation of powers to its core, he has managed to distract everyone from poking into his UGL corruption scandal or making more ugly revelations from the Yuen Long land collusion investigations.
