Several bombs have exploded in Thailand in the past 24 hours, killing at least four people.

Explosions in Hua Hin, Phuket, Trang, and Surat Thani last night and this morning have left four people dead and dozens injured, according to initial reports.

At the time of writing, no one has claimed responsibility for the bombings.

On Thursday night, at least one person died and 19 more were injured after two explosions outside a bar in Hua Hin, a coastal resort town. Foreigners are reportedly among the injured. There have been reports of another blast killing one more person in Hua Hin this morning.

A bomb exploded in front of a police station in the resort town Surat Thani at around 8:00 am this morning, killing at least one person and injuring three more, according to an initial Bangkok Post report. Another explosion followed 30 minutes later at another police station about 400 meters away, but no one was injured. The bombs were reportedly detonated via a mobile phone.

Six people were reportedly injured after a bomb exploded at a market in Trang, southern Thailand yesterday. Reports following the explosion said authorities had been quick to rule out any element of terrorism in the incident.

Further blasts have been reported in Phuket, another popular holiday destination.

The U.S. embassy in Thailand has warned travelers to avoid the affected areas and to review their personal security plans.
